Privacy Policy

Who this applies to

This policy covers the FosteringAI iOS app (“the app”, “we”, “us”). It explains what
the app does and does not do with information on your device.

Information we collect

None. The app does not collect personal information. Specifically:

• No account, email, name, or sign-in is required or requested.
• No analytics, telemetry, crash-reporting, or advertising SDKs are included.
• No tracking across apps or websites. The app does not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA).
• No contacts, photos, location, microphone, or camera access is requested.

Our privacy manifest (PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy) declares no tracking and no
collected data types, consistent with the above.

Information stored on your device

To make the app work, the following is stored locally on your device only, and is never
sent to us or anyone else:

• Your learning progress, streaks, XP, completed lessons, quiz results, and flashcard review schedule.
• Your preferences, such as chosen language, goal, and notification settings.
• Text you type into the practice sandbox or the “teach it back” feature.

This data lives in the app’s private storage. Deleting the app removes it. We have no copy and
no way to retrieve it.

On-device AI features

The AI tutor, teach-back grading, and practice sandbox use Apple’s on-device foundation models
(Apple Intelligence). Everything you type into these features is processed locally on your iPhone.
It is not sent to us, to Apple, or to any third-party server. These features require a
compatible device and iOS version; where unavailable, the rest of the app works normally.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, they are scheduled and delivered locally by iOS on your device.
We do not operate a push server and cannot send you remote messages.

Purchases

FosteringAI Pro is sold through Apple’s In-App Purchase. Payments are handled entirely by Apple
under Apple’s own terms and privacy policy. We never see or store your payment details, card number,
or Apple ID. The app only receives an anonymous entitlement indicating whether Pro is active, so it
can unlock content. Restoring purchases uses Apple’s standard mechanism.

Network use

The core experience — lessons, videos, subtitles, flashcards, and quizzes — works fully offline.
The app does not phone home. The only network activity is Apple’s own systems for In-App Purchase and
restore, which are outside our control and governed by Apple.

Children’s privacy

The app is rated for general audiences and collects no personal information from anyone, including
children. Because we collect no data, there is nothing to knowingly collect from a child under 13.

Third parties

The app includes no third-party analytics, advertising, or data-broker software development kits.
We do not share data with third parties, because we do not collect it.

Your rights

Since we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export, or
delete on our side. You control all app data directly on your device and can erase it at any time by
deleting the app.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update the effective date above and post the revised version at this
URL. Material changes will be reflected in the app’s release notes.
