Frequently asked questions
Does the app work offline?
Yes. The lessons, videos, subtitles, flashcards, and quizzes are all on your device and work with
no internet connection — on a plane, on the subway, anywhere.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up and no login. Your progress is stored privately on your device.
What does FosteringAI Pro unlock?
The Fundamentals track is free. Pro unlocks the Advanced and Expert sections, the AI tutor, and the
practice sandbox. Pro is available as a monthly or annual subscription.
How do I restore a purchase on a new device?
Open the app, go to the Pro screen, and tap “Restore Purchases.” This uses your Apple ID, so make
sure you are signed in to the same one you bought with. Subscriptions are managed in
Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions on your iPhone.
The AI tutor, teach-back, or sandbox says it’s unavailable. Why?
Those three features use Apple’s on-device intelligence, which needs a recent iPhone with Apple
Intelligence and a supported iOS version. Everything else — the full course, videos, subtitles,
flashcards, and quizzes — works on any supported device. Nothing you type into the AI features ever
leaves your phone.
Can I listen instead of watch?
Yes. Tap the headphones icon on a lesson, or “Play all” on a module, to switch to audio mode with
background playback and lock-screen controls. Great for commutes and walks.
What languages are supported?
The app interface is available in 17 languages, and lesson subtitles in 18. It follows your iPhone’s
language setting; you can also turn subtitles on or off per lesson.
How do the widgets and Siri work?
Add the FosteringAI widget from your Home Screen or Lock Screen to see your streak and next lesson
at a glance. You can also say “Play my next FosteringAI lesson” to Siri to jump straight into audio.
Is my data private?
Completely. We collect nothing, there are no analytics or ads, and the AI features run on-device.

How do I delete my data?
All app data lives on your device. Deleting the app removes everything — there is no server-side
copy to erase.
